Dennis L. Bishop's newest game "Under the North Star" is in the final phases of development. We hope to release the game in two or three weeks.
The game is set in 1918 and simulates the civil war that was fought in Finland between the forces of the Social Democrats led by the People's Deputation of Finland, commonly called the "Reds" (punaiset), and the forces of the nonsocialist, conservative-led Senate, commonly called the "Whites" (valkoiset). The Reds were supported by Russian Soviet Republic, while the Whites received military assistance from the German Empire.
Tom Cundiff has done the counter art and Richard Dengel the map art.
The following comments are from Dave about "Master and Commander":
"Fun game, and just like you say, quick and easy to play while still providing enough flavor to satisfy the itch to be Jack Aubrey
Well done! Good luck with your future designs."

Braddock’s Defeat is a conflict simulation of the French and Indian War battle that ended the British expedition to capture French Fort Duquesne. Not an ambush, as is popularly thought, the battle was really a meeting engagement. The French in Fort Duquesne, told by their scouts that a large British force with guns was approaching, sent elements of the Duquesne garrison on a preemptive strike. The French force met the British force before they could set up an ambush. The game is for two players or is highly suitable for solitaire play.

Master and Commander is a fast-play conflict simulation of Napoleonic naval combat. Version 2.0 expands the beautiful counter set by Tom Cundiff from the original game. New rules have been added for crew quality and ship drifting. Two hexagonal grid templates are provided with the game for creating a map of any size.
