WDG is re-releasing Hermann Luttmann's A Spoiled Victory: Dunkirk 1940. The game has thicker Action cards than the earlier release. It is available in boxed, folio (poly-bag) and PnP formats.

A Spoiled Victory is a solitaire game that recreates the tense situation in late May and early June 1940 when Allied forces were almost driven into the sea. Players face the decision-making challenges faced by Allied commanders to extricate trapped soldiers from certain destruction. Player Actions must be allocated each turn for defense of the perimeter, creation of Evacuee units and moving Evacuee units from the beaches to the safety of England. You obviously cannot save everyone, so you must pick who will stay and fight so that those who do escape can fight another day.

"Entertaining. Unpredictable. Never the same twice. A challenge. And fun."

"...another fine Hermann Luttmann design...A SPOILED VICTORY is a solid, nail-biting solitaire WW II game..."
